Spray foam insulation is an energy-efficient home insulation that seals the nooks and crannies in your homes and business. It impacts both conduction and convection, the processes that impact how much heat moves in or out of your space. It can keep your house warm in the winter and cool in the summer. It also reduces your carbon footprint and helps to make your property more eco-friendly.

Our spray foam insulation is available in open-cell and closed-cell varieties. Closed-cell is the most commonly used type of spray foam insulation. It is sprayed into walls, ceilings, attics, crawl spaces, basement slabs and other areas of new construction or remodeling jobs to prevent air leakage, making your building more energy efficient.

The Science Behind Green Earth Spray Foam: Understanding Its Eco-Friendly Composition

Open-cell spray foam insulation is a more environmentally friendly alternative to closed-cell spray foam. It does not contain any blowing agents with high global warming potential (GWP) like HFCs or HCFCs, which have a GWP of over 3,400 times more than carbon dioxide on a per-kilo basis. Open-cell spray foam insulation is also free from asbestos and contains no harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

We use USA Premium Foam to spray insulation in attics, wall cavities, rim joist, knee walls, overhangs, and bonus rooms in existing homes. It’s important to prep the walls before spraying. They should be clean, dry and free of dust or other debris that could interfere with the spraying process. Once sprayed, the foam will quickly expand and fill in the walls. It is important to keep the gun about 10-12 inches away from the wall surface to ensure even coverage.
